"Beech Cottage is an oasis of tranquillity in the bustle of modern life. With a genuine and sincere welcome, Carolyn will do all she can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The building is fascinating, the room and bed very comfortable and the breakfast superb - what more would one want! Well worth a visit if in this area."

"I stayed at Beech Cottage for two weeks in October 2013 and planned to stay for much longer had it not been for the vagaries of my work. I nominate Carolyn’s full English breakfasts (preceded by superb fruit salads) to be among the best in the world. I also highly recommend Carolyn’s delicious shortbread biscuits taken with tea in the evening. A great place to stay in Milton Keynes."

"My wife and I had a wonderful 2 night stay with Carolyn at Beech Cottage as we toured England. We felt like we were staying with an old friend we had not seen in a long time. Although we stayed in some excellent B&Bs, our stay here was outstanding, and quite spoiled us for the rest of our trip.
While the cottage was delightful, the beautiful old beech tree at the entrance, did make accessing the driveway a little challenging. However, with a little guidance from Carolyn, this turned out not to be an issue. Without a doubt, should we be in the area again, this will be our first choice for a place to stay!"

"I stayed with Carolyn at Beech Cottage from June 2012 to September 2013 (Mon-Fri). The location is excellent, 10 minutes walk to the station and only 20 minutes from all of the shops, bars and restaurants in central MK.The rooms are all of a high standard with individual bathrooms, comfortable beds and Freeview TV. The breakfasts, whatever you choose, are tasty and the portions generous. A real home from home, with the feeling that you are a visiting family member rather than a paying guest. Thanks again Carolyn and hope to stay again not too far into the future."

"This is the place to stay in Milton Keynes. 5 minute walk from the train station. Breakfasts made to order. Service second to none. The hospitality is such that you are treated as a friend rather than a paying guest. If you are planning on staying in Milton Keynes then give this delightful B&B a try. You will not be disappointed."

"Delightful... My partner and I felt that we had come across a true treasure. We stayed in the newly converted barn which was clean and extremely comfortable. We were supplied with anything we needed and the owner bent over backwards to make our stay as pleasant as possible. ....The whole experience was relaxing with a true homely feel and fantastic hospitality. Would highly recommend."
